Akyerekyerefo Drops New Single Gyae Huuhu"-Stop The Arrogance
Two professionally trained teachers, Akyerekerefo who double as musicians are stepping outside the classroom to contribute their quota to building hiplife music in Ghana.
The music duo is out with a new single called GYAE HUUHU which literally means 'stop the arrogance.' They say the song is not directed at anybody but to educate and inspire the youth of our time.
The group is made up of Okyerekyereni Makorni (Richard Nartey) and Okyerekyereni Sparkles (Ranford Saltson). They are signed to Bakus Entertainment, a record label based in USA with its subsidiary in Ghana.
According to the country rep for Bakus Entertainment, Yaw Agbey-Lawson, the group has enough musical experience that can sustain them for decades in the hip life business and more over he believes their new single 'Gyae Huuhuu' will go farther than their previous single 'I No Dey Mind' which featured Quata.
“My outfit has also brought a lot of marketing and promotional activities that will put the artistes on the world map and that their new single will be used as the first step for Ghana to know what they had in stock to deliver," Lawson said.
The CEO of Bakus Entertainment, Ernest Annoh–Dompreh who runs Bakus Group of Companies which is based in the USA has plans of making both the company and its artistes very established in the country.
Akyerekyerefo in a statement also said they are pleased to be signed onto the record label, promising to give Ghanaians great hip life tunes, the new single which was produced by “RAY N CASH2” will be unveiled very soon so loyal fans of Akyerekyerefo should stay glued and wait for it.
